Trout Fishing in South of the Lake District

The Furness Fishing Association was formed in 1950 and was originally all one club. Since then it has seen its membership grow and a need for more dedicated sections to be formed. Today it consists of 5 sections covering all aspects of angling and a shooting. Our section  provides and promotes game fishing in the Furness peninsular. This section of the club is restricted to 280 senior members and 40 junior members. 

We are one of the few clubs that don't restrict its members to traditional fly only. Members can also fish with bubble & fly, bait and lures for trout.

With 3 main stocked waters  Nigel 10 acres Burlington  25 acres and Middle North 2 acres. The club has some of the most natural and unspoiled fishing in the country.

Member are allowed 4 visits per week and a bag limit of 3 fish per visit.
